Learning Opportunities in Communities

If it’s been a while since you’ve been involved in learning you might want to take an informal course to get used to learning again, build your confidence or help you develop learning skills. Maybe you just want to try out a variety of subject areas and take your time deciding what you’d like to do.

There are lots of local opportunities available across Fife and Tayside in libraries, community centres and college outreach facilities that can give you the chance to try out different things. You can start off with a short course lasting for just a few weeks or take a longer course; some courses focus on a single subject area, while others might offer a range of tasters in different subject areas.

See what's available below:

Transitions

The Fife and Tayside Wider Access Forum Transitions partnership provide a number of courses that are delivered in local communities by different organisations and institutions. To see what’s coming up in your area go to our Pre-access in Communities / Upcoming courses page.
